We operate in alliance with government and local community bodies that help to strengthen the environmental, social, human, cultural and economic capital of the area. It is recognised that good relations within the community are vital to the operational and fi nancial success of the mining program.
Exact Mining Services regularly operates on Aboriginal Freehold Land within Australia. We recognise the rights and traditions of the indigenous community and will continue to strengthen our relationships with the local communities within all regions of our operations.
In addition to operating in accordance with Exact Mining Services Policy, we strive for continual improvement through the development of an appropriate and effective Indigenous Community Plan. Exact Mining provides assistance to all levels of the society. We believe in supporting dedication and hard work, thus a program has been put into place to sponsor local athletes and events.
Our program includes many up and coming regional athletes such as the young talent of Jack Bobridge; a member of Australian Track Cycling Team for the Beijing Olympics. Local venues such as the Eagle Bike Park in the Adelaide Hills are hosts to the Australian Mountain Bike National Series, which Exact Mining is proud to be a part of.
Exact Mining facilitates the opportunity for development within a neighborhood; this is greatly evident at Roxby Downs. Each year support is provided to local events, clubs, foundations and individuals, endeavoring to grow positive relationships. |
