Exact Mining Services has a reputable history in the mining industry, built on years of experience providing high quality and superior services. The company has a national workforce in excess of 300 employees and is still experiencing significant National Growth.
Exact Mining Services is undertaking an exciting project commencing in regional South Australian which involves engaging twenty three indigenous employees from the Davenport Community and Port Augusta Region and employing them as Trainees under the Metalliferous Mining Training Package and Business Administration Package at our current SA Projects.
These participants will be the first trainees in South Australia to undergo the Certificate III in Metalliferous Mining – Open Cut as part of this exciting project supporting the Port Augusta and Regional SA Indigenous Communities.
Exact Mining Services has a strong commitment towards investing in the skill development of indigenous communities by offering stable and secure employment and training opportunities. The company’s relationships with various indigenous communities has been the main driver in establishing this program.
Chief Executive Officer, Greg Rhodes has been very proactive in promoting such programs. Exact Mining Services has previously undertaken a similar successful joint venture in northern QLD which involved an indigenous employment and training program to enable the candidates to develop and ultimately this operation has become independently run by the Local Community. The newly developed program in SA is intended to be developed under a similar concept and is in the early stages of implementation.
Our existing clients, State and Federal Government Departments, together with the Local Indigenous Communities, various Training Organisations, Job Networks and Government Supported Agencies have been very supportive in assisting us in establishing this program and in aiding in the development and structure to ensure it is successful. These parties will be crucial in assist us in long term retention and training initiatives and support.
